Media Company MTV Embraces Hybrid:
Places Order for FusionLayer Infinity
Helsinki, Finland, ⎯ FusionLayer today announced, the media company MTV has chosen FusionLayer Infinity for its next-generation hybrid IT infrastructure. The deployment of FusionLayer’s Hybrid Network Management solution is part of a larger transformation program aimed at modernizing the media company’s business platform.
“We are honoured to have been chosen by MTV as their hybrid network management solution vendor” stated Teemu Sorvisto, the Chief Executive of FusionLayer. “By running FusionLayer Infinity in their next-generation IT architecture, MTV will be able to gain control of all their networks – both on-premise and in the public cloud – and to speed up the application deployment lead times which is critical in today’s fast-paced media business.”
The MTV announcement coincides with the public release of FusionLayer Infinity 2.4.2. The latest addition to the FusionLayer product family introduces built-in support for F5 BigIP DNS Express and an extended support for Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure.
By building on top of the native Amazon Web Services (AWS) support introduced in late April 2017, FusionLayer customers will now be able to centrally manage network environments that span between public clouds and on-premise data centers. With the support for F5 BigIP DNS Express, customers will now be also able to auto-generate names for orchestrated workflows and provision the associated DNS changes to the authoritative F5 DNS platform in real time.
FusionLayer specializes in unified network management solutions that simplify multi-vendor SDN, NFV and hybrid cloud environments. We go beyond traditional DNS, DHCP & IPAM (DDI) by providing visibility, simplicity and automation across all networks. Through patented technologies and optimized workflows, FusionLayer delivers agility, compliance and OPEX savings for telcos, managed service providers and enterprises. Nine out of ten of the world’s largest service providers leverage FusionLayer.
